You are looking at a custom made 2 button joystick that is shaped as the very popular Radio Shack Deluxe Joystick made for Tandy 1000 / TRS-80 Color Computers. This controller is compatible with various retro Tandy computer systems including the Tandy 1000 family of computers and TRS-80 Color Computer family of computers.
This joystick and buttons are Sanwa style and come with microswitches.
I was tired of my retro PC controller having issues every time I wanted to play it that I decided to 3D print my own controller housing and get some nice microswitch buttons and sticks. I have 3D printed this in PLA with 20% infill as it is much much stronger that way. This will hold up much better than your classic retro joysticks.
This will work for the color computer 1/2/3 or Tandy 1000 family of computers. Please note that this has an analog to digital converter inside so it will work without the need of an analog joystick. This is also wired for you to be able to use 2 buttons, this may also work with the Dragon 32/64 but you will need to remove the center pin on the 6 pin din as the Dragon computers only have a 5 pin din. Also, this will disable the second fire button.
This controller has been confirmed to also work on Tandy 1000 TX, EX, HX as those are the computer that I own, but should typically work with all Tandy 1000 computers with a 6 pin din joystick connector.
All parts on this are brand new (new stick, button and case is 3D printed).
The case was 3D printed, the joystick and buttons taken out of the box and put in the case. After that the wire was soldered in and case was closed then tested for full functionality.
Due to the overwhelming response for these items I have made several more and I would like to offer to people that are looking for a better way to play their classic Retro PC games.
